  81. So that InfoRecall and its files can set up correctly, you must run
  82. INSTALL.EXE.
  83.  
  84. To Install InfoRecall
  85. 1. Place the InfoRecall diskette in drive B.
  86. 2. From the Program Manager, click File and select Run.
  87. 3. In the run dialog box, type b:Install.
  88. 4. Click OK. The Install program will be loaded.
  89. 5. Install suggests that InfoRecall be installed in directory C:\INFO.
  90.  
  91. You can accept this by clicking OK or change it to a directory you
  92. prefer. You can also do a custom installation. If you choose this option
  93. you can install the InfoRecall program files only, without the sample
  94. files or the sample files only, without the program files.

  96. Install will now install all the necessary files to the directory you
  97. have chosen and while doing so, will show you its progress to completion.

  221. You have the non-exclusive license to use the software product
  222. identifies above on a single computer.  You may use the software on a
  223. network provided you have purchased a number of software packages equal
  224. to the maximum number of copies in use by you at any one time.

  226. RESTRICTIONS

  228. You may not sub license, assign, transfer, loan, rent or lease the
  229. software of your rights under this license except as expressly provided
  230. in this Agreement. Any attempt otherwise to sub license, assign,
  231. transfer, loan, rent or lease the software or your rights under this
  232. license is void and will result in termination of this Agreement.

  234. Individuals who wish to distribute the InfoRecall package to friends or
  235. associates may do so freely in accordance with the restrictions outlined
  236. in LICENSE.TXT

  238. You may not alter, merge, modify or adapt the software in any way
  239. including desassembling or decompiling, or attempt to do any of the
  240. foregoing, without the prior written consent of Phantech Software Inc.
  241. You may not use, copy, modify, or transfer the software or any copy,
  242. modification or merged portion thereof in whole or in part, except as
  243. expressly provided for herein.

  245. BACK-UP
  246. You may make back-up copies of the software but not of the user
  247. documentation. Each backup copy must include the copyright notice
  248. included in this Agreement. The installation of the software on your hard
  249. drive is permitted subject to these conditions.

  251. COPYRIGHT
  252. Phantech Software Inc. owns all intellectual property rights in the
  253. software and the user documentation.  Theserights are protected by
  254. Canadian and United States copyright laws, other applicable copyright
  255. laws, and international treaty provisions.  Phantech Software Inc.
  256. retains all rights in the software and user documentation not expressly
  257. granted under this Agreement.

  259. TERM
  260. This license is effective until terminated in accordance with this
  261. Agreement. You may terminate it at any time by destroying the software
  262. and user documentation together with all copies, modifications and merged
  263. portions in any form. Your license will also terminate upon conditions
  264. set forth elsewhere in this Agreement or if you fail to comply with any
  265. term or condition of this Agreement.  You agree that upon such
  266. termination you will destroy the software and the user documentation
  267. together with all copies, modifications and merged portions in any form.
  268.  
  269. LIMITED WARRANTY
  270. Phantech Software Inc. warrants the supplied diskettes to be free from
  271. defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of
  272. ninety (90) days from the date of delivery to you as evidenced by a copy
  273. of your receipt. The software and user documentation is provided "as is"
  274. without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, statutory or
  275. otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of
  276. merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as
  277. to the quality and performance of the software is with you.  Should the
  278. software prove defective, you (and not Phantech Software Inc.
  279. or its authorized dealer) assume the entire cost and responsibility for
  280. all necessary servicing, repair or correction.  For greater certainty,
  281. Phantech Software Inc. does not warrant that the functions contained in
  282. the software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the
  283. software will be uninterrupted or error free.  The warranty and remedies
  284. set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or
  285. written, express or implied. No authorized dealer, distributor, agent or
  286. employee of Phantech Software Inc. is authorized to make any
  287. modification, or addition to this warranty.  Some states do not allow the
  288. exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to
  289. you.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have

  292. LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES
  293. Because software is inherently complex and may not be completely free of
  294. errors, you are advised to verity your work and to make back-up copies.
  295. The liability of Phantech Software Inc. and your exclusive remedy shall
  296. be (a) the replacement of any diskettes not meeting the limited warranty
  297. provided above, so long as the diskettes are returned to Phantech
  298. Software Inc. or its authorized dealer  with a copy of your receipt
  299. within ninety(90) days of purchase;  or(b) if we are or the dealer is
  300. unable to deliver a replacement diskette(s) which is free of defects in
  301. materials or workmanship, you may terminate this Agreement by returning
  302. the software and all user documentation to us or the dealer.

  304. IN NO EVENT WILL PHANTECH SOFTWARE INC. BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY
  305. DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR
  306. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE
  307. SOFTWARE EVEN IF PHANTECH SOFTWARE INC. OR ITS AUTHORIZED DEALER HAS
  308. BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY
